People everywhere love chocolate chip cookies, they have definitely become a very popular and well loved dessert. Try out this recipe for Overnight Chocolate Chip Cookies the next time you want to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies! Chocolate chips are definitely a favourite, and are probably the most popular type of cookie out there since it was the original besides some of the traditional sugar cookie that is just a plain cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield, who owned the Toll House Inn restaurant, she would make cookies and serve them to the guests, eventually, her chocolate crunch cookie would become very famous. We all still enjoy chocolate chip cookies so good thing she invented them!

These cookies are a little different, only in that the dough sits in the fridge over night. The author of Chocolate, Chocolate and More says that it is better to 'age' the cookie dough before you bake it. She says it definitely tastes better when it has sat in the fridge overnight, a full 24 hours. Not too sure exactly why this is, but apparently it makes the cookies better! The author of this blog, Joan, says with 3 kids around, she always has some cookie dough in her freezer and it is always this chocolate chip cookie dough recipe that she keeps on hand because it is the one her kids always want.

Her kids love them so much they will even clear the table and do the dishes after dinner if they know they are getting some of these awesome cookies! And since Joan always has some pre made chocolate chip cookie dough in her fridge, she is always prepared! She also has a bunch of other cookie recipes on her blog that all look so good!
