If you are looking for a great shrimp recipe, try out this awesome looking Garlic Ginger Shrimp Stir Fry for dinner! This recipe was given to the author, Jaden Hair, from the Steamy Kitchen food blog that her and her husband Scott, have been doing for 8 years now. Jaden got the recipe from her mother, who she shares recipes with back and forth all the time. They share recipes and recipe books and as her mother is Chinese, there are a lot of really good and authentic Chinese recipes that Jaden shares with us on her awesome blog, and this is one of them!

Jaden says that she tweaked the recipe just a bit, but it is still super close to the original that her mom gave her. This shrimp is nicely stir fried in garlic and ginger that gives it a really nice flavour, with a little bit of kick. Her one piece of advice is to cook the shrimp and the garlic and ginger separately, since shrimp needs a high heat to cook and garlic and ginger will burn at too high of a heat, as I am sure you probably know if you have been cooking for a while. So best to cook the shrimp and then turn down the heat and remove the shrimp to cook the garlic and ginger at a lower heat.

She shares the recipe and how to in a great video, which is nice for all those visual people out there that appreciate watching someone else doing something before you do it yourself. I know I always find it helpful! This shrimp would be awesome with some veggies and rice, or even as a salad. You can even try and plant the white part of the green onion and grow some more green onion at home like she suggests! It actually works I have tried it!
