A microwave recipe for making fudge may sound unrealistic, but it exists! Presenting you a three-ingredient 3 Minute Microwave Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge recipe that will instantly gratify your senses when you’re craving chocolate. You’ll notice how soft and smooth the fudge will taste in your mouth. If you do not want to prepare this recipe in a microwave, you can use the double boiling method to prepare the fudge. A frugal and easy recipe for fudge candy is always a winner over painstakingly complicated fudge recipe that has many ingredients that might even cost a bomb. One important note though, do not be confused between condensed milk and evaporated milk. The major difference between the two is that condensed milk has added sugar to it while evaporated milk is sugarless and it’s a lot thinner in consistency. The condensed milk is what holds this easy fudge recipe together and an essential ingredient at that. This recipe is also good if you want to make it in bulk and freeze. Fun desserts like this one are also perfect if you want to gift it to your loved ones especially now that the holidays are coming up. Do keep in mind to use a good quality aluminium foil or parchment paper so that the fudge comes off easily when peeled. Nothing is worse than a sticky mess of fudge.

Because of how easy this fudge recipe is, you can have fun with it by adding ingredients of your choice. You can add raisins and cranberries soaked in wine or add pumpkin and sunflower seeds to give the fudge a fine touch with a little bit of crunch. You can also add new flavors like orange rind, mint, vanilla flavor etc. A few other ingredients that you may add are marshmallow fluff, butterscotch or toffee chips etc. If you wish to make this recipe into vegan just substitute the condensed milk with coconut cream, you can easily find in Asian food stores. Again, do not be confused between coconut milk and coconut cream as they’re two different ingredients.

As a healthier alternative for this recipe, instead of adding the regular semi-sweet chocolate chips you can choose dark or bittersweet chips. Since bittersweet chocolate chips have more cocoa versus sugar ratio in them, it is a healthier option. Always pick dark chocolate chips that have cocoa content that is more than seventy percent. Dark chocolate is an excellent source of antioxidants, improves cardiovascular health and contains fiber and iron. With all the health benefits that come from dark chocolate, why not use this fudge recipe as an excuse to add it to your diet. As far as peanut butter goes, it is very high in vitamin B6, which helps in maintaining blood sugar levels. Always choose a peanut butter brand that is in pure form without any additives like sugar, corn syrup, salt, canola or palm oil. What’s even better is if you go for organic peanut butter that is GMO-free. Alternately, you can also make peanut butter in your kitchen by crushing roasted peanuts together in a food processor until the oil oozes out of the peanuts and churn them further for a smoother consistency if you want.
