The main ingredients of this easy salad recipe include specifically Romane lettuce, croutons, lemon, olive oil, parmesan cheese, eggs, anchovies, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. The story goes that at a hectic time on the 4th of July back in 1924, the kitchen of the restaurant in Tijuana ran out of many of the ingredients.
