Blueberry Muffin Bread
Blueberry Muffin Bread is an easy way to get blueberries into a muffin, but not have to bother with serving out the batter into individual tins and bake it. This way, it serves up as a tidy little bread that you can just slice and serve. Often, I think that blueberries are delicious hot, as in blueberry pie, but in breads I think they taste best when they are only warm. This bread also includes a thin glaze that gives a sweet finish to the bread that is really nice to have. One alternative to this pretty glaze is to brush the top, bottom and sides of the loaf heavily with butter, preferably unsalted. Then roll it in regular sugar, giving the loaf a buttery sweet and slightly crunchy finish. Finally, though, heavily sprinkle the whole thing with icing sugar. This three layer finish makes a bread that is absolutely deadly.
Of course, sometimes you want a lovely and light, fresh bread, which is what you have here. But don’t forget that there are plenty of ways to make it even more fun and delicious. Of course, this bread is also nutritious. First, it is made from scratch and so you are adding plenty of homemade goodness into the mix. Then, you are loading it with blueberries.
