Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge

This recipe creates four layers of sweet, chewy and crunchy delight in this Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge. And the best part of this recipe is that you do not have to labor to get this stuff to the soft ball stage or any other stage, for that matter. That is because chips are used that firm up well even when they are just heated and then re-chilled. So the beginners in the household can pull this together in no time (minus chilling, of course, unless they forego that step in order to gobble up the results sooner).

This recipe is quick and easy to make. Chocolate chips or morsels combine with a few other ingredients to form the base. Pecans and caramels are added to create two more layers, and then base is repeated in a top crust for the Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge. Chill it well. This is one sweet dessert. The pecans will add a nice contrast of nutty and buttery flavor that will provide some relief from all the sweet, and the caramel will give a texture change that will also appeal.
