Chocolate Chip With Pudding Cookies

As if chocolate chip cookies weren't amazing enough on their own! Now here are some Chocolate Chip With Pudding Cookies! This recipe sounds so good, chocolate chip cookies with creamy pudding in them? I'm in! At first, I thought that they would be stuffed with chocolate pudding centres, and thought that would be really good too, maybe a new idea for some chocolate chip cookies hey? But the pudding is vanilla and it is mixed into the batter with everything else to give the cookies a nice moistness that will last for days! Which is a great idea, since sometimes, certain chocolate chip cookies can be a little hard even the very next day! And no one like that! We want nice soft and tender cookies, don't we?

The pudding works great especially if you are making cookies with a whole wheat flour. Sometimes the whole wheat can tend to create a denser dough that gets tough, and Mary at Barefeet In The Kitchen, says that the pudding is the only way she has been able to get a soft cookie when making them with whole wheat flour. While whole wheat flour is a healthier option, it sometimes doesn't make the best desserts. So it's great that other people who are experimenting with it can share their new found recipe hacks with us.

Chocolate chip cookies have been around for ages, and were created first by Ruth Graves Wakefield who owned the Toll House Inn restaurant where she first introduced the cookies and they quickly became popular when she published the recipe in a book in 1938. People just loved the recipe so much and we still do to this day! This is probably where the Toll House cookie batter that is all pre made came from, Ruth Graves Wakefield's recipe from long ago!
