Cinnamon Roll Coffe Cake
There's nothing better than the aroma of a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. Although baking them requires a lot of work so it might be pretty rare that you make them from scratch. Instead of making cinnamon rolls from scratch you could try making this easy dessert recipe for cinnamon roll coffee cake. It has all of the same flavours of cinnamon rolls but will require far less effort to bake. You probably already have all of the ingredients you'll need to make this recipe. Most coffee cakes are topped with a crumble topping, but instead, this one is topped with a cinnamon glaze which absorbs into the cake as it bakes. This is a treat that would be great to serve for breakfast or as a dessert treat. The ingredients for a vegan coffee cake would be flour, just like in the regular recipe, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, water, non-dairy milk, vanilla, vegetable oil or coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and a flax egg. To make a flax egg, you need some ground flax seed and some water. Just mix three tablespoons of water with one tablespoon of flaxseed and then allow it to set in your fridge for 15 minutes before using in your recipe.
