Creamy Pesto Alfredo Chicken Fettuccine Bake
If you are looking for a creamy, nice and comforting meal for dinner tonight, then here is a great recipe for a Creamy Pesto Alfredo Chicken Fettuccine Bake! Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine is already such a great meal, but adding pesto to it just up-levels the recipe even more! Pesto is so easy to make on your own as well, you don't need a ton of ingredients and you don't always have to make it with the expensive pine nuts that it usually has in it. This recipe calls for the pine nuts, but they are pretty pricy at about $9 for a cup or more than that even! They are so good though, and really good for you too!
You can also use cashews, since they have that nice creamy texture, or some pistachios, make sure you soak them first though, so they are a bit softer. Pesto is so good on everything, whether its pasta, pizza, as a dip for bread, veggies, or crackers, with cheese, or even as a part of a salad dressing or sauce for veggies.
