Extra Crunchy Baked Potato Fries
Potatoes are such a great and versatile vegetable that has so many great nutrients. Potato nutrients are filled with vitamin C as well as potassium. They are also quite low in fat as well as sodium. When it comes to potatoes recipes there are so many great ones out there that make it so easy to make many different types of potato dishes that can be served as main courses or as sides. A recipe for extra crunchy baked potato fries would be perfect to add to your next meal. Fries go well with many dishes, like burgers, fried fish, chicken, or even a side to a sandwich or a salad for lunch. Sometimes it can be hard to find that perfect crunchiness in a fried potato, but this recipe will help you to get a nice, crispy fry every time. Enjoy your fries with some ketchup or maybe a fancy homemade aioli sauce.

This is a printable recipe.
6 medium potatoes (russet, red)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
Tools: large baking pan, parchment paper
Preheat oven to 400F.
Wash and peel potatoes,pat dry with a paper towel.
Cut the potatoes into long thin strips.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and dab the butter onto the paper. Drizzle with half the olive oil onto the parchment paper and use a pastry brush to spread it around.
Line the potatoes strips on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. They will be crispier if they are not stacked.
Place into the preheated oven and bake in oven for 35 to 50 minutes flipping as needed to encourage browning on all sides and adding the remaining oil as well.
