How to Make Freezer Friendly Breakfast Sandwiches
Sometimes I sleep in past my alarm. Sometimes I even keep snoozing for several whacks of the alarm before I actually get up. Working on your own schedule has its blessings and its curses, and one of the curses is the difficulty there can sometimes be in getting oneself out of bed. On 'late' mornings like this, I often will skip my much loved breakfast (who am I kidding, I never skip it!..but I end up taking even longer before I get to work because now I also have to eat). A recipe like this Freezer Friendly Breakfast Sandwich from the Kitchn is just what I need to help me on those slow moving mornings.
When I came across this recipe and actually started doing this, it changed my world. Now, all I have to do is pull this sandwich out of the freezer, warm it up while the coffee brews and get my work station ready for action (yes, I eat at my computer!).
