In this amazing Youtube video, you will see If you build it. . . they will climb. Literally. You will want to see this amazing, and dangerous viral video of two guys climbing a skyscraper that is still in the process of being built. The Shenzhen Centre is 2165 feet high; that is over 91 floors up into the sky. These guys climb the building at night and sleep in it until the morning. In the morning, the duo makes the rest of their climb to the top of the skyscraper, and video recorded themselves standing on top of the high building. This is something you don't want to do yourself, but it's always fun to see someone else do it. After the climb, the viral video shows the duo making the descent back down the very tall building.
Once on top of the skyscraper, we are gifted with the incredible view of the city of Shenzhen, China. The light and city surrounding view make for a beautiful morning scene; making the climb worth it I'm sure. There are not too many places in the world where you will get a great city view like that. What is the tallest building you have ever climbed? This definitely wouldn't be an activity for somebody who is afraid of heights.
People have taken notice of this video with over 4,600,000 views to date. This is one way to get your daily dose of activity and exercise! The guys from On The Roofs did an epic climb more than one year ago of the Shanghai Tower, and the feedback they got was something they hadn't expected, they continue to get feedback about it today. So with the amount of people interested in what they were doing, they decided to make it a tradition of climbing to rooftops of new skyscrapers all over the world.
The Shenzhen Centre skyscraper is a new financial center that at the time was still being built and is located in Shenzhen, China. The final height of the tower is 2165 feet making it the second tallest tower in the whole world. The tallest tower in the world is Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
These guys obviously like to do things and activities that have a certain level of fear and danger; they would have to be in good shape, and be sure to take the safety precautions of getting in and out of the buildings, and doing the climb safely.
On The Roofs are two guys, Vitaliy Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov, who are 21 and 25 years old. They are photographers from the Ukraine and Russia. They have been doing photography for over five years. They have teamed up together for their On The Roofs project, dedicated to the art of urban exploration. For them, urban exploration and photography go hand and hand, proving inseparable since they both started their careers. They have accumulated a good number of climbs since starting their careers, with climbs the feature Cologne Cathedral, the Pyramid of Cheops, the Shanghai Tower, the top star of one of the Stalin's high rises, the Seven Sisters buildings, the Moscow bridge in Kiev among others.
Their photography and video are a beautiful quality that showcases urban life as most of us will never see it, and offers a beautiful glimpse of the urban architecture that sits around the world.
