Easy Mashed Potatoes
We all love to learn different ways to cook potatoes as potatoes are one of those foods that can fit in with pretty much any meal. There are potatoes recipes for fried potatoes, baked potatoes, potatoes made into hash browns and of course mashed potatoes like the ones you see here in this delicious potato recipe. You will love these easy mashed potatoes and so will everyone at the table. There is nothing like a delicious potato recipe that can be whipped up to go along with some creamed corn or some gravy for that special holiday meal, or just any meal for any night of the week. This mashed potato recipe has real cream as an ingredient which is part of what makes the potatoes turn out so yummy. Try to use organic cream when possible as well as organic butter if possible. You may even want to make a double recipe for those special occasions with many people.

This is a printable recipe.
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 Tablespoons cream
2 Tablespoons butter
1 extra Tablespoon cream (more or less for desired consistency)
salt and pepper to taste
Peel potatoes and slice into quarters put them into a saucepan. Add enough water to cover the potatoes, and add the salt.
Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes or until a fork can easily be poked through them.
In a small saucepan, melt butter and cream together. Set aside.
Drain water from potatoes. Transfer the hot potatoes into a bowl.
Add cream and melted butter. Use a potato masher to mash potatoes.
Use a wooden spoon to mix further, adding extra cream to achieve the consistency you desire.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
