6 Tablespoons hoisin sauce
6 Tablespoons sherry wine
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons barbecue sauce
4 green onions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 pound rib eye or 1 pound tenderloin, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Mix together hoisin sauce, sherry, soy sauce, barbeque sauce, onions, garlic and ginger in a small mixing bowl. Set aside.
In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, heat 1 Tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the beef cubes and sear for 4-5 minutes, turning to brown all sides.
Reduce heat to medium and pour over the sauce. Stir to coat well.
Allow to simmer until beef is cooked to desired doneness and the sauce begins to thicken.
Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary.
Delicious served hot with egg noodles or rice.
