Sweet and Sour Pork
Asian takeout is delicious and convenient, but preparing it at home can be more economical for the whole family. This sweet and sour pork recipe tastes just as good as the takeout version with crisp pork pieces and a tangy, sweet glaze. Serve this comfort meal over steamed white rice to mimic how the restaurant does it or prepare nutty brown rice instead, which will contain more nutrition than white since the germ is still intact.
When you require 30 minute recipes for dinner, stir fries are an excellent way to go. Once the meat is marinated, this pork recipe takes less than 30 minutes to get to the dinner table. For even tastier pork and faster preparation the night you plan to make this dish, start marinating the pork in the refrigerator the night before. This Asian-style pork recipe will be an excellent addition to your pork dinner ideas because it utilizes lean pork loin which is quick-cooking. The cornstarch coating will help lock in the juices for a tender pork meal.
