Baked Spinach and Artichoke Dip

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cups of fresh spinach
or 1 package frozen spinach thawed, drained and patted dry with paper towel
1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon fresh or dried parsley
1/2 cup freshly grated Asiago cheese
1 gloved garlic, minced (optional)
Preheat oven to 300°F.
If using fresh spinach, put into a pot of water, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Drain and squeeze out the water.
Chop into smaller pieces.
In a mixing bowl stir together the sour cream, mayonnaise, spinach, artichokes, lemon juice, parsley, cheese and garlic.
Put the mixture into a baking dish, cover with aluminum foil and place into the oven.
Bake for 2 hours.
