Auntys Cucumber Salad

2 cucumbers (Use Long English cucumbers or substitute 12 small Persian cucumbers)
1 large white sweet onion,sliced thin
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
Wash, dry and slice the cucumber in halves then 1/4 inch chunks if using small Persian cucumbers or quarters if using English cucumbers. Put into a large salad bowl.
Cut the onion in half, then 1/4, then cut thin slices of onion. Add to the bowl. Stir to combine.
Add the white vinegar and sour cream and stir in. (note, you can add extra sour cream if you want it creamier)
Add the salt and chopped dill, stir to combine.
Do a taste test and add more salt if desired. Serve.
