Miami Vice Mocktail
Drink recipes are really fun to make, and they can add some fun to entertaining menu ideas. Like this yummy looking Miami Vice Mocktail that combines the flavours of both a strawberry daiquiri and a Pina Colada all in one. This tropical drink is inspired by the sunsets in Miami, Florida and there is nothing quite like a nice, cold drink to enjoy at the end of a hot day. Plus the drink looks so pretty with the layers of light yellow and deep red, and it could be a healthy drink option instead of the usual boozy cocktails. Why not have two different drinks in one? The pina colada is a mix of pineapple and milk, but in this recipe creamy coconut milk and cashew milk are used instead of dairy milk. This not only makes it much healthier, but it also makes it edible by vegans and lactose intolerant people which is always nice when trying to choose birthday recipe ideas where you will be serving food and drink to different people with different food preferences and allergies. The strawberry daiquiri layer is made with frozen strawberries and lime juice with some sugar in it to enhance the sweetness. Usually the pina colada would have some white rum in it, as well as the strawberry daiquiri, but in this case, it is a mocktail which is a mock version of a cocktail with no alcohol in it.
