Chocolate chip cookies are definitely a favourite, and are probably the most popular type of cookie out there, besides some of the traditional sugar cookies that don't really have any extra bits of chocolate or candy in them. The chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield, who owned the Toll House Inn restaurant, she would make cookies and serve them to the guests, eventually, her chocolate crunch cookie would become very famous. We all still enjoy chocolate chip cookies, so it's a good thing she came upon this discovery!
These cookies are a little different, in that they have bits of chopped up Milky Way chocolate bars in place of the chocolate chips. The author of I Heart Naptime, says that her mom has been making these cookies for a long time, and that they are super good. She managed to snap a quick photo of them before her family devoured them and wow, do they ever look awesome! I imagine the Milky Way bar would taste so good in place of the chocolate chips too.
