It’s summer time and nobody in their right mind wants to spend more time in the kitchen than they have to. And turn the oven on? No way! That’s why, when we’re looking for scrumptious desserts to make for our families, we’re looking for the quick and easy kind that require absolutely NO baking. And guess what we just found? This amazing recipe for No Bake Almond Joy Bars!

These No Bake Almond Joy bars can not only be thrown together in minutes, they are also truly a joy to eat. The only problem is that they might be too good and you might have to make a second or even a third batch because they might disappear way too fast for you to keep up with them!

Chocolate and almonds have gotta be one of the best combos ever. The melt-in-your-mouth texture of chocolate mixed with crunchy almonds? OMG, we are in total heaven just thinking about it. What’s more, this recipe also calls for coconut. Can you imagine? Add the chewy coconut factor to crunchy almonds and velvety chocolate and we may completely dissolve into dessert Nirvana – never to return!

And this recipe can be perfectly flexible as well. For example, if you don’t have almonds, you can substitute them with any other nuts you have on hand – walnuts, peanuts, or cashews. Or how about pecans? OR, how about combining a few different kinds of nuts at a time? Have fun with this recipe and see what you come up with. You could even add a few seeds like sunflower, sesame, or hemp for a little extra chew. All of these items are extremely healthy too!

Oh, and instead of peanut butter, you could use almond, cashew, or hazel nut butter, just to name a few.
