Nutty Toffee Bars

Oh, here’s another great recipe we just discovered! If you’re looking for something easy to make that involves not only chocolate, but toffee and nuts as well, then look no further than these magnificent Nutty Toffee Bars! If you’re really in a hurry, you can actually make this one using Bisquick. What is Bisquick? It’s a pre-made baking blend manufactured by General Mills. It’s very convenient if you don’t have a lot of time to spare, but if you don’t have any Bisquick or you’re not a big fan, then you can also make your own pre-blended mix to have on hand.

This recipe comes to us from Joan over at the “Chocolate, Chocolate and More” blog. Joan, as so many others are these days, is nuts about chocolate! But if you want more than just chocolate recipes, you can find those here as well. Joan lives in Georgia where people are still so very passionate about cooking food right! But don’t tell anyone she uses Bisquick for some of her recipes. It’s a secret! Joan’s not just a wonderful chef, writer, and photographer, she’s also a mom of three, which means she’s really a Jane of All Trades too. While her kids and blog aren’t keeping her busy, you might just find her out in the garden.

The garden! What a wonderful place to be. Maybe on a nice comfy lawn chair with a cool refreshing drink and a couple of these Nutty Toffee Bars to keep us company. We’d better eat ’em up quick, though, before the luscious chocolate and buttery toffee melt away in the hot sun. That would be very sad indeed!
