Orange Creamsicle Yogurt Bites

Who would have ever thought of combining the two very different flavours of orange and cream together to make a very tasty yet unusual combination? It is basically just a mixture of the orange flavoured popsicle and vanilla flavoured ice cream. Popsicles have been around since the early 1900s. A young boy by the name of Frances William Epperson, who was only 11 at the time, added some powdered flavour to his soda water to make a nice drink for himself, and he left the soda sitting outside overnight with a stir stick in it. The pop froze in the glass overnight with the stick in it due to colder temperatures outside. What Frances, otherwise known as Frankie, was left with was a frozen tasty treat. Later on, Frankie would go on to sell his Epsicles at beaches and amusement parks until he applied for a patent for his invention in 1924. His children coerced him into changing the name of the Epsicle ice pop to Popsicle. From then, creamsicles were made with flavours like blue raspberry, blueberry, cherry, lime, grape and of course, orange.
