Oreo White Chocolate Pudding Cookies
Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies, and they have totally become a very popular and well loved dessert over the years. Chocolate chip cookies are definitely the most favourite out of cookie recipes, and are probably the most popular type of cookie out there since it was the original besides some of the traditional sugar cookies that are just a plain cookie with a little bit of a different taste. The chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield, who owned the Toll House Inn restaurant, she would make cookies all the time and serve them to the guests, and then eventually, her chocolate crunch cookie was put into a recipe book, and now that recipe is loved by so many! We all still enjoy chocolate chip cookies til this day, so good thing she invented them!
These cookies are a little different, they have Oreo cookies in them! Yes, the chocolate chip cookies have another crushed up cookie in them, how epic is that?! Plus they have white chocolate chips instead of the normal ones, so they match the flavour of the Oreo cookies perfectly. The other secret ingredient she adds is white chocolate pudding! She says she adds pudding to any of her cookie recipes, it just makes them softer and adds some more richness to the flavour.
Her family loves them so much and she says she thinks this recipe ought to be in the Cookie Hall of Fame or at least rewarded some how for the genius discovery of putting Oreo cookies into chocolate chip cookies to jazz them up a bit!
