Overnight Pumpkin Pie French Toast
This recipe touts itself as Overnight Pumpkin Pie French Toast, but you could also call it a bread pudding. Perhaps that second name is not quite as sexy, but it does describe the process that you engage in to make this breakfast food. This dish will be fabulous for breakfast, but it could also easily serve for dessert. Bread puddings are a fabulous dish that are often served in the very best restaurants. Although they are sometimes thought of as just a way to get rid of the extra bread in the house, a careful egg mixture and the right ingredients can result in a pudding of extra ordinary quality.
This dish is easy to make. You just put the liquids, seasonings and other ingredients together, then let it sit in the fridge over night. Pull it from the fridge and bake it in the oven, taking care, of course, to not burn it. This dish will be a lovely Sunday morning brunch treat. The various pumpkin spices and nutmeg, will scent the house thoroughly, and no one will be able to resist it (and they will stick around in order to get some).
Bread pudding is delicious as soon as it comes from the oven, and is often served with a caramel sauce, lime sauce or other complementary topping. Then it can also be served with whipped cream or even ice cream, as you and your family prefer it. Try bread pudding soon, and with this recipe, you can be pretty sure the entire family will enjoy it. It is an easy recipe to make, tastes great, and can be served from breakfast to dinner and breakfast again. Enjoy!
