It could be said that cookies are one of people's favourites desserts or that they have become a very popular and well loved dessert at least. The chocolate chip cookie was originally invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield, who owned the Toll House Inn restaurant, she would make cookies and serve them to the guests, eventually, her chocolate crunch cookie would become very famous when it was published in a recipe book in the 1930s.
