Fortunately this is one of those dessert recipes that is simple and fast to make. All you have to do is simply make the foundational crust, then layer it with cherry pie filling, a creamy layer with cream cheese and more, chocolate pudding, and finish it off with a healthy layer of Cool Whip. And go crazy with whatever garnish you are desiring. You can top it off with some sweet maraschino cherry bits, some shaved dark chocolate or even some chocolate sauce to make things really chocolatey. Then all you have to do to set this cherry dessert recipe is just chill and then you can serve it when it is set.

If you wanted a vegan option with no dairy in it, or of you or anyone in your family or friends circle is vegan or lactose intolerant, you can modify the ingredients by using a coconut whip instead of the Cool Whip or whipped cream too. There are lots of recipes for making a whipped topping out of coconut cream on the internet that are pretty easy to do. You can also make jello pudding dessert recipes out of coconut cream or avocado, which might sound weird, but once you get some sweetener and coco powder in, it really tastes like real chocolate pudding but it is a healthier option that gives you some great nutrition in the long run.
