Enjoy a Skinny Beef and Broccoli recipe when you are watching your waist line, and still eat well and feel satisfied when your meal is finished. And you will feel great, too, because you are giving your kids the nutrition and well balanced foods that they need for their good health and growth and development. This dish is really nice because of the way they give you a marinate for the beef to allow it to soak up flavors and get really juicy and tender. You can leave it longer, if you like, and even a lot longer. So if it is easier for you to begin the marinate as much as 24 hours before, that will be fine. Your meat will then be super tender. Or just use the ten minutes or so that the recipe on the site, Life Made Sweeter, recommends. Either way, this dish will be great.

This recipe also includes some great seasonings including garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce and other similar seasonings. All of these seasonings will add great taste to this skinny beef and broccoli recipe, so do not skip any one of them when you make this dish for your family. And this dish can be served up a lot of different ways. Since there will be lots of juice with this dish, serve it up over something that can absorb all of that terrific flavor. That could include rice or noodles, whichever your family prefers. A great brown rice would be fabulous or a noodle made with whole wheat or another type of grain. These stronger flavors work better because of the strong flavor that you find in the beef.

Broccoli is a great addition to any savory dish that you are making for your family. The kids seem to always love it, and so that is a great reason by itself to make this veggie often. As well, though, broccoli is a member of the cruciferous vegetable group, one of the best groups of veggies that you could eat. The World’s Healthiest Foods site recommends that you eat as much as two cups worth of this type of veggie every day. That is a lot of veggies, and especially so, since they are all from one group of vegetables. Broccoli has some terrific cholesterol lowering properties, just one of the many great things that eating this veggie can do for your body. As well, broccoli helps cleanse and detoxify the body. Further, broccoli is loaded with the vitamin K as well as vitamin C. So enjoy lots of broccoli with this dish, and do not be afraid to add even more than the recipe might call for you to add.
