Slow Cooker Hot Five Cheese Lasagna

Lasagne is always such a good meal, why not try this easy Slow Cooker Hot Five-Cheese Lasagna! Lasagne has been around for a long long time, in fact, the lasagne noodles were the first kind of pasta ever made, and people used to eat these broad, thicker noodles and not the skinny linguini or spaghetti we are used to these days. It was made similar to how its made these days, with flour, water and sometimes eggs. And rolled out and then cut into noodles. The dish lasagna was developed later on when there were the layers of noodles, cheese and vegetables and meat all stacked into one dish and then baked to perfection, and now there are all different types of lasagna, like chicken Alfredo lasagne, seafood lasagne, vegetarian lasagne, and even lasagne made without the wheat noodles, but with noodles made out of zucchini sliced into thin strips.

There are even dessert lasagnes now, like the chocolate lasagne which has a bunch of layers of chocolate cookie, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream or sometimes other flavours. This lasagne is made in the slow cooker, so you know that the flavours will be intense since it will have been cooking all day long. The cheese will be melted to perfection and the noodles will just soak up all of the sauce!

The great thing about slow cooker meals, is you can put it all together even the night before and then add it all into your slow cooker and it will be all ready when you come home from work at the end of a long day.
