Would you eat chocolate fudge every day if it’s sugar-free and healthy? A sugar-free recipe for fudge candy sounds unrealistic, but it does exist! This is The Best Quick and Easy Chocolate Fudge recipe you can whip up in no time, and you’ll be happy to know that it’s dairy free as well. Just put all the ingredients and combine in a food processor and give it a good pulse. There is no cooking or baking time required for this recipe. It’s that simple. Typical fudge would have butter, but this recipe uses coconut oil that is rich in good saturated fats and safe to eat in moderation. With just seven ingredients you can make this healthy fudge that tastes no different than a store-bought fudge. The one good thing about making homemade fudge is that you can use the simplest of ingredients without any added preservatives or artificial flavors, unlike the store-bought ones and make it same just as tasty or better.

If you don’t have a silicon mould as per the recipe, you can just use a regular sheet pan, or a tray lined with parchment paper would work just as good. Always remember when you’re making fudge, ensure to prep your baking pan beforehand by lining it with parchment paper or non-stick aluminium foil so that the fudge comes off easily when it’s frozen. It’s never a pleasant experience to scrape fudge off of your baking pan if not greased well. You can store this fudge in a fridge to keep it fresh for days. This recipe can be made healthier if you add dark chocolate in the place of regular chocolate. Dark chocolate with more than seventy percent of cacao is healthier because it goes through little processing or ‘Dutching’ as the term is called. It is full of fiber, iron, magnesium and antioxidants that are essential for a healthy immune system.

Fudge is one of those fun desserts you can make, and there is nothing right or wrong thing about it. Just put together whatever flavors that you want to experiment it with and there are so many creative variations for making it. Like for example, you can use mint extract or orange rind to make the fudge taste a bit more fun. You can also use peanut butter chips, puffed rice, butterscotch or Skor toffee bits or even marshmallow fluff to make it a bit more fun. You can also add seeds like flax, pumpkin or even sunflower seeds or add nuts like pecans, walnuts etc. Choose a good quality vanilla extract in fudge recipes as vanilla uplifts the flavor of chocolate even more. Steer away from artificial vanilla flavor because they don’t do much regarding taste or flavor in dessert recipes. Bakers around the world go by the science of real vanilla and agree that when it is added to desserts, it acts as more than just a flavor. It brings the ingredients together to make it taste richer and fuller and not to mention the sweet fragrance of real vanilla beans stands out distinctly in dessert recipes. Sure it can be more expensive than the artificial flavor, but it yields a more superior and premium taste especially in fudges and other desserts.
