Yummy Baked Pizza Spaghetti

Yummy baked pizza spaghetti is one of those fantastic comfort foods that hearkens back to our childhood. This recipe builds on what for many of us was just some leftover spaghetti reconfigured with a bit of cheese and bread crumbs to a height great enough to serve this dish to visitors. It is a fantastic dish. It does use some commercial ingredients, but don’t let that stop you. This recipe is quintessential southern, with over the top sauces, meats and cheeses, that mean this dish is going to blow you and your family away.

This dish will take a bit of time to prepare, and should also stand for 10 or 15 minutes once it is out of the oven to allow the dish to sort of firm up and so cut more easily into big slices (everyone will want big pieces). This dish includes great vegetables, several different tomato sauces, multiple meats and plenty of cheeses. It makes me laugh just to write about it. This is such a southern dish, where many flavors are brought together, layered and played upon each other to create dishes that are just to die for.

You really cannot beat Southern cooking. Its intent is so clearly to fill empty tummies and say “I love you” through dishes that reach for the sky and your heart. This dish is one that could probably freeze well, even in plastic zip lock bags, if you let it sit for 24 hours before cutting it. Even small pieces will be nutritious and filling, so make a variety of sizes to meet different appetites and times of day for eating it. For kids on the go, this is a great meal after a heavy hockey work out or tough football practice. For you, it’s a great way to say you care. Try this recipe soon, and enjoy.
